This house is situated on Baleia Azul Estate in Ponta Mamoli. The accommodation is built in the form of a lodge with 4 bedroom cottages standing separate from the main living area. Each bedroom has the following: Luxury Cloud Nine king size beds in 3 of the bedrooms and 1 bedroom have 2 single beds that can be converted to a king-size bed or pushed apart as 2 single beds. All 4 bedrooms have a loft room with a further 2 single beds, all linen provided, en suite bathroom consisting of a large shower, a separate toilet, and a hand basin, air conditioning, wall fan, safe, own small private deck with stunning sea views. This house has a jacuzzi, built-in charcoal/wood braai, Built-in Pizza Oven, boma area, bar area, and a pool on the main deck. Please take note that the pool does not have a safety net or fence around it, so if there are kids that cannot swim it's at your own risk. DSTV in the central living area. DSTV decoder and card supplied, so no need to bring your own. Wifi available depending on use can be topped up easily by giving cash to our helpers The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering. All cleaning materials are supplied. The water comes from a borehole and there is a filter system but it's advised to take drinking water with it. The kitchen consists of a Fridge, Upright Freezer, Chest Freezer, Additional Fridge, Microwave, Kettle, Gas Stove, Oven, Toaster, Blender, Hand Mixer, Air Fryer, Plunger, Ice Maker, Washing Machine, Tumble Dryer, Dishwasher, Pizza oven. Only the housekeeper can operate the washing machine, you need to take your own washing powder with you. There is a flat bottomed cast iron pot as well as a 3 legged potjie pot. All bedrooms and central facilities overlook the sea. Please note that the lofts are relatively small but are more than suitable for children. Adults can definitely sleep in the lofts but will be unable to stand up straight. (Approx height 1.5 metres) The king-size beds in all the bedrooms have mosquito nets, the beds in the lofts don't have mosquito nets. This house sleeps up to 16 people. The beach in front of the house has the best snorkeling spot in the area, Fredericos. There is a septic tank so nothing other than single-ply toilet paper can be flushed. There is an entry and exit permit that you need to get at the entrance gate to the Estate, cost is R100. Remember to hand this permit back when you leave and collect your R100. There is a public launch site available at R100 per launch.
The swimming pool at this house has no safety features. Use of the swimming pool and the associated amenities and facilities is strictly at your own risk. There is a generator at the house in case of power outages, should there be no fuel, clients can purchase fuel for their own account. There are canisters available and fuel is available in Ponta D’ouro. We had a lovely stay and brought back awesome memories!
Some of the bath towels needs to be replaced though - I got one with holes in. Lots of lights (esp outdoor lights) didn't work, as well as a fan in one room and the heater for the juccuzi. The shower and tap in our room sometimes shocked us while showering/using the tap; this strange senario happened 'on and off', so just check that. Maybe more wineglasses, as there were only 4 for us to use. Absa was great! Great views!

We were a family group of 10 and we had a wonderful time. The accommodation is exactly as advertised and we were well looked after by the daily staff who were very organised in the face of constant chaos. Our only problem was that we did not have a 4x4 and that is essential
